Senior Transport Modeler

As Senior Transport Modeller, you will deliver and oversee transport modelling projects and work with broader technical project teams to support projects and bid delivery through undertaking transport planning studies, traffic impact assessments, modelling analysis both macro and microsimulation, and future transport studies to support solutions for development and infrastructure projects.

This role will report to Jakarta Transport Planning Team Leader and relevant project managers to undertake a range of transport planning, strategic modelling, microsimulation modelling and traffic impact assessments, supporting on technical analysis, surveys, writeups and presentations for assigned projects primarily in the Indonesia market, but also for regional projects in ASEAN, as needed.


The Opportunity

Lead transport modelling analysis Analysis of traffic impacts on projects in coordination with local and regional specialists. Conducting transportation analysis using both simplified transport models and more complex transport modeling software, in accordance with applicable standards. Manage resources and budget aligned to project targets Leading and or supporting presentations and meetings with clients and stakeholders

 
Is this role right for you?

Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in transport planning, civil engineering (preferably with transport modules), or related areas Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience in the field of transport planning, modelling or traffic engineering Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership Strong knowledge and project experience in transport modelling and analysis including complex analysis using VISUM, VISSIM, EMME, CUBE, software, as well as other similar modelling packages Experience in across a broad range of transport planning, strategic modelling, microsimulation modelling.
