Senior Transportation Designer: Operates MicroStation CONNECT Edition and produces clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications. Responsibilities include preparation of various transportation related plans including highway/roadway; bridge and traffic plans; traffic signal; pavement markings and signage; and temporary traffic control and construction staging plans. Fluency in MicroStation Connect Series and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

Responsibilities Include:

Uses various computer aided design/drafting (MicroStation) equipment and software to prepare drawings, plans and renderings. Create and revise permitting and construction drawings and details (highway plans, grading plans, traffic plans, bridge plans, profiles, and cross sections). Prepare detailed multi-view drawings. Complete finished drawings based on sketches and concepts under the direction of an Engineer. Update standard details and templates. Maintain an organized file system for production drawings. Assist in preparation of contract documents, including plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates

Required Experience:

Proficiency in MicroStation CONNECT Edition, including OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS experience is a plus Strong knowledge of Bridge, Highway and Traffic Disciplines Ability to work independently Excellent written and oral communication skills
