POSITION In this role, the Senior Engineer will champion and lead teams in the designing of transportation passageway projects for clients across a spectrum of design work that encompasses roadways, high-speed, multi-lane systems, bike paths, bridges, and sidewalks to smaller municipality projects. These responsibilities include: + Project Management: leads team from inception to completion to achieve project results on time and within budget. + Facilitate quality assurance and quality controls on project work within the team. + Analyze system deficiencies and provide improvement alternatives to meet project goals. + Leverage design software to draft plans, drawings, and models. + Ensure precise calculations and safety in project design through meticulous attention to detail. + Draft technical writing pieces such as Requests for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums. + Engage with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input + Surpass client expectations and complete projects on time. + Develop, inspire, and mentor reporting personnel “Our supportive environment empowers employee-owners to grow their skills, tackle challenging projects, pursue their goals, and advance their careers professionally and financially. It is a place to thrive.”-Scott Murphy, President/CEO YOUR STRENGTHS + Professional Engineering (PE) license or able to obtain after hire + Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent + Minimum of 8+ years’ experience with civil transportation design and roadway projects + Advanced project management experience leading complex projects + Working knowledge of roadway, site grading, and utilities + Proficiency with design software ( e.g. AutoCAD and Bentley) + Strong communicator through technical writing and public speaking + Proven client growth mindset + A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record is required for periodic travel   Morrison-Maierle is not accepting 3rd party agency solicitation requests now.
