The Senior Transportation Planner will contribute to the production and delivery of transportation tasks and projects including management and training of staff. Lead variety of transportation projects, which may include corridor concept development, bicycle and pedestrian improvement development, multi-modal transportation analyses, traffic analyses, support public outreach and transit evaluation. 

Lead analysis and planning activities ranging from small to large projects addressing infrastructure for transportation studies, design projects, and long-range planning.Quality review written reports and deliverables for transportation studies, programming and conceptual design submittals involving planning studies.Quality review feasibility studies, technical reports, and proposals for transportation projects.Manage relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities.Responsible for ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.Lead the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance. Present project budgets and cost estimates.Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department.Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.Manage sales and marketing efforts, identify, and manage key pursuits.Manage the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance.Quality review and approve project budgets and cost estimates. Report project performance.Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the environmental engineering practice.Responsible for QA/QC process adherence and process improvement.Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards
