In the role of Senior Transportation Specialist, we'll count on you to:Design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and proceduresQuality Control review of plans, specifications, and estimatesReview of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided designPreparation of design and quantity calculationsPreparation of specifications and contract documentsOther duties as assigned by the supervising engineerCoordination with other disciplines as necessaryPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineeringPreference given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supportedAptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supportedExtensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supportedProven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environmentsProficient with Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
