Posting Number NONAC3503 Job Title Senior Treasury Accountant Position Title Senior Treasury Accountant Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary Department Office of The Controller Position Summary The Senior Treasury Accountant is a critical role within our finance team, responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, investments, and banking relationships. This position will play a key role in optimizing our financial resources, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: Cash Management: + Oversee daily cash positioning and forecasting to optimize cash balances. + Manage bank relationships and negotiate optimal terms. + Implement and maintain efficient cash forecasting models. + Monitor and reconcile bank accounts. Investments: + Manage the company’s investment portfolio, including fixed income and short-term investments. + Conduct investment analysis and risk assessments. + Ensure compliance with investment policies and regulations. Treasury Operations: + Process wire transfers, ACH payments, and other treasury transactions. + Manage foreign exchange transactions. + Monitor and reconcile intercompany loans and transfers. Financial Reporting: + Prepare accurate and timely financial reports related to treasury activities. + Assist with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings. + Analyze financial data and provide insights to management. Risk Management: + Identify and assess treasury risks, such as liquidity, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks. + Implement risk mitigation strategies and controls. + Monitor market trends and economic indicators to anticipate potential risks. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 5+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance. + Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and investments. + Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + CPA or CTP certification preferred.
