Senior Treasury Analyst
Description We are in the process of recruiting a Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer for our team in the Insurance - Casualty industry based in ROLLING MEADOWS, Illinois. This role involves managing global cash forecasting, foreign currency exchange, investments, and multilateral netting, along with contributing to month-end reporting and project-based financial analysis. Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly divisional cash forecasts and partner with local finance teams on preparation and analysis • Lead cross border intercompany settlements • Assist with cash repatriation planning and MA funding • Maintain global investments in Kyriba treasury management system • Oversee pre-trade coordination and post-trade settlement of FX trades with banking and divisional partners • Execute foreign currency trades using Bloomberg trading platform • Assist in the implementation of multilateral netting utilizing Kyriba treasury management system • Stay updated with current market trends, currency fluctuations, and currency restrictions and requirements • Conduct capital market research, reporting, and related projects • Support other treasury functions as needed Requirements • Prior experience in the insurance industry, specifically in casualty insurance • Proficiency in corporate treasury functions, including cash management, risk management, and treasury operations • Advanced skills in MS Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the insurance industry • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CTP) preferred • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of treasury management.
