Senior Treasury Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join Intraday Liquidity Management within the Liquidity Risk Management Team.

Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team that is responsible for managing Wells Fargo's balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company's businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company's operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.

Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) ensures sufficient liquidity while working closely with the business to provide strategic liquidity solutions, conducting liquidity stress testing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the Company’s liquidity risk management capabilities.


In this role, you will:

Manage and support global treasury activities including funding, liquidity risk management, asset and liability management, capital management, financial performance management, and related activitiesMonitor and evaluate global market conditions and provide overall advisory on treasury finance riskBe responsible for complex reporting and analytics on treasury finance metricsEnsure accurate recurring deliverables are completed and compliant with various treasury risk management regulatory requirementsEnsure data quality and establish controlled processesCollaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting and consulting firmsMake recommendations to more experienced group members and managementCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of payments, liquidity, and financial risk managementExperience with Dremio, PowerBI, SQL, Oracle, and other query languages to create ad hoc reportingExperience with data quality, data management, and working with large sets of dataExcellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a broad range of audiences Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or large-scale individual projectsHigh level of attention to detail; ability to translate strategy into actionable steps across direct and indirect teams


Job Expectations:

HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE: 3 days/week in a location posted and 2 days/week remote
