Senior Treasury Analyst- BSIRRM Product Strategy

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Management and Governance Support Analyst (Senior Treasury Analyst) to join the BSIRRM product strategy team. This position will focus on product strategy, models and analytics and will work in partnership with Liquidity risk, Capital, Balance Sheet Optimization, Investment Portfolio and other business finance teams. 


In this role, you will:

Develop an understanding of product strategy (product terms, pricing strategy, and industry landscape) in different macro and interest rate environmentsDevelop understanding of products, and expected customer behavior under different interest rate and stress test scenarios and make recommendations to management on potential risks and opportunities Be responsible for complex reporting and analytics on treasury finance metricsEnsure accurate recurring deliverables are completed and compliant with various treasury risk management regulatory requirementsEnsure data quality and establish controlled processesCollaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting and consulting firmsMake recommendations to more experienced group members and managementCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behaviorKnowledge of financial institution balance sheet, product offerings, and financial risk managementDeep understanding of asset liability management and interest rate risk management conceptsExcellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a broad range of audiences Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or large-scale individual projectsExperience with regulatory requirements surrounding the management of model risk, interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital Experience assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures and processes (includes compliance and operational controls within a large complex organization)Ability to work in a team-based environment, prioritize tasks, learn quickly, provide superior customer service, and take on new challenges
