Senior UI Designer

Overview:
We’re embarking on an exciting journey to launch a brand-new suite of cloud-based products and are looking for a passionate Senior UI Designer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of a global product design system and play a pivotal role in ensuring a cohesive, world-class user experience.

Working closely with a dedicated front-end developer and an experienced UX team, you’ll have the chance to create and evolve design patterns that will not only enhance our new product suite but also integrate seamlessly into the main WK product design system. Your work will have a lasting impact on how our global users interact with our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Build the foundation: Create an asset library in Figma that reflects the designs implemented in our new product suite, setting the stage for consistency across products.

Drive alignment: Collaborate with teams across different products to understand user needs and goals, ensuring patterns align while delivering exceptional experiences.

Be a design advocate: Guide and support designers in adopting the design system, fostering best practices across the organization.

Partner with the design-system team: Work closely to ensure your patterns integrate into the larger WK product design system, influencing its evolution globally.

Quality-first approach: Ensure responsive experiences are optimized and meet the highest standards of design and usability.

Agile collaboration: Refine and iterate on pixel-perfect mockups within an agile framework (we use SAFe).

Build relationships: Forge strong partnerships with designers and developers to deliver consistent, high-quality UI across all products.

What we’re looking for:

A passion for designing complex, workflow-based B2B products and a proven ability to craft intuitive, scalable solutions.

Expertise in Figma and design systems, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience building and managing shared assets and libraries.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to dive into complex workflows and edge cases.

Self-organization and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English).

Desirable skills:

Familiarity with designing for accessibility, ensuring inclusive and equitable user experiences.

Advanced Figma skills – from creating and managing design libraries to prototyping and annotating.

Experience with user research – planning, executing, and reporting.

Ability to craft user flows and goal-oriented designs.

Why this role is special:
This is more than just a role; it’s a chance to leave your mark on a global scale. As you develop and refine the design patterns for our product suite, your work will become the foundation for products used around the world.

There’s also plenty of room to grow. You’ll have opportunities to enhance your skills, take ownership of major projects, and shape the evolution of a global design system. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with talented designers and developers who share your passion for creating outstanding digital experiences.

If you’re excited about making a global impact and working on challenging, rewarding projects, we’d love to hear from you!
