About the role

This role will manage the profitability of new and existing lines of warranty business for consumers.  It will include extensive analysis of data producing Underwriting rating models for accurate pricing of plans in line with Underwriting policy guidelines and processes.

Interpretation of data into rating proposals balancing out business opportunities with profitable growth objectives. Extensive data knowledge, modelling and active communications are critical to the success of the role

Requirements

The Senior Underwriter will have extensive knowledge of sales journeys, price points and claims processes that impacts on risk and pricing Rating System knowledge (trained) Data extraction through SQL via Databricks Data Analysis and Modelling via Excel, PowerBI and Earnix
