Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. **Description** The Manufacturing Systems and Infrastructure (MSI) team is responsible for gathering, consolidating and tracking all manufacturing data for Apple’s products and modules worldwide. This data is captured and used throughout the company and the products’ lifecycle, from the very beginning, to validate that units being built are fully tested and of high quality before leaving the factory, all of the way through to warranty support for customers. We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer who possesses a real passion for phenomenal design, a superb aesthetic sense, an extraordinary eye for detail and a deep appreciation for user experience in data analysis. This role requires a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging AI technologies, and the ability to play a crucial role in defining and implementing AI solutions for our organization. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in applying gamification techniques to make mundane data more engaging and actionable. In this role, you will also promote these ideas throughout the team, collaborating to build amazing user experiences. **Minimum Qualifications** + 5+ years of experience in user-centered design with hands-on experience throughout the process, from user research to developing prototypes and collaborating on implementation. + Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or relevant work experience. **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Media Arts and Sciences, + Master’s in Fine Arts, or other advanced degrees preferred. + Experience in delivering wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, design specifications, final assets as well as personas and use case development. + Ability and passion to understand distinct user groups quickly and iterate solutions to their needs. + Deep understanding of information architecture, design patterns and interaction design, especially as applied to data-intensive applications. + Work as part of a cross functional team, partnering with users, product owners, business analysts and development teams to deliver business value. + Strong leadership skills to promote and manage appropriate usability testing and user research endeavors to help drive user satisfaction. + Expertise in Design and Prototyping software such as: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent, with a strong grasp of design systems. + Strong analytical skills to interpret complex manufacturing data and translate it into intuitive user interfaces. + Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging AI technologies, with the ability to collaborate with AI experts to integrate AI features into manufacturing data management tools. + Experience in applying gamification techniques to make mundane data more engaging and actionable. + Languages/Syntax: HTML. **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
