Senior UX Designer, Connective Experiences, Selling Partner UX
Description The Connective Experiences UX team is looking for a driven and thoughtful Senior UX Designer to own the user experience of the Paragon Case Management System. Paragon is an integrated human in the loop (HITL) system of products used by over 100K people across 180+ Amazon teams to provide support to various Amazon customer personas (including buyers, sellers, advertisers, and more), and resolve their issues accurately and speedily. Paragon’s three-year vision is to become the HITL platform of choice for Amazon and invest in automation innovations while improving end-customer experience. You will partner closely with product and engineering to achieve this vision. You will work with Paragon’s diverse user base to learn about their needs, design the core Paragon experience, and set standards that other designers follow when contributing to Paragon. Key job responsibilities * Lead the design for improvements of existing experiences and wholly new experiences while planning and defining strategy for the direction of future iterations. * Analyze customer problems, design customer journey flows and delightful solutions that deliver results. * Lead UX research activities to learn more about customers and partner with a UX researcher on larger-scale research activities. * Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, interaction flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. * Advocate for your design solutions by putting them in context of the inputs that influenced the design decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings. * Review and defend design recommendations to partners, stakeholders, and senior leadership. * Work alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle * Provide design clarification and consultation as needed to engineers when UX deliverables are being developed. * Define core patterns and information architecture of Paragon. * Consult with other UX designers contributing to Paragon to ensure customers are getting a consistent experience. A day in the life A typical day could involve meeting with key stakeholders to discuss the scope and requirements of a project and how it fits into the bigger picture of the customer experience. You may lead workshops and meetings to generate inputs to the design process and then have focus time to work on those designs. You may have multiple projects occurring simultaneously and will be responsible for managing dueling priorities. About the team You will be embedded in a UX team that owns the search, support, and communications experiences on Seller Central, the tool third party Sellers use to run their business on Amazon and one of Paragon’s customers, as well as the information architecture of the overall experience.
