The AWS Identity & Cloud Governance (IDCG) UX team is seeking a talented User Experience Designer. This designer will have a significant impact on our business as they lead the design for core AWS services. The designer will work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers, leading design throughout the strategy, design, and development life-cycle. Key job responsibilities
* Understand and design solutions for AWS user needs and problems.
* Work with product managers, engineers, and other designers to finalize and build solutions.
* Develop and drive a forward-looking vision for the overall customer experience.
* Learn and teach skills used to do the above.
A day in the life
A normal day as a designer on the AWS IDCG UX team could take many forms. You might be talking directly with customers to understand their current experience, meeting with engineers to pitch them on a new idea, or working through the final fit-and-finish of a project ready for launch. You could be leading our weekly team learning session, or critiquing your peer's design work or forward-looking UX-strategy document.
Whatever you are doing, you'll have the opportunity to grow your skillset as a designer and influence the experience for millions of AWS users around the world.

We educate the rest of the AWS design community how to design for, interact with, and integrate with these services, tools, and concepts.
