Prime UX researchers and designers work with global product, marketing, branding, science, and technical team partners to deliver compelling customer experiences for Amazon.

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead UX design for the Prime’s UX customer experience. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of UX designers building End-to-End lifecycle for Prime customers. You will work alongside research, product, and engineering partners across Prime and Amazon businesses to build customer-focused solutions at scale. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. You must be able to lead projects forward in the face of complexity and ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
- Design beautiful, useful, and delightful components, patterns, and layouts that uniquely serve Prime customers, express Prime brand, and are cohesive with Amazon’s stores and benefit partner experiences
- Consider market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings in design solutions
- Use business requirements, user and market research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements
- Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flows based on Prime’s customer journeys
- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs, and prototypes
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design system documentation
- Work with program managers to plan projects for effective delivery while maintaining high standards for design
- Partner with front-end engineering (FEE) and content tooling teams to ensure scalable implementation of CXs using the design system
- Be a passionate and effective advocate for design with non-design audiences
- Write effectively to communicate design rationales and benefits to Amazon customers
- Use analytics and data to drive design decision making to best serve our customers
- Create and maintain processes for scaling, updating, managing, and evangelizing a design system

- Own large to extra large UX Design initiatives in Amazon’s fast-paced, results-oriented environment to define, assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features.
- Understand the end to end customer journey, the friction points within, and how your proposed CX solution impacts that path and others
- Drive exploration of new customer experiences to help Prime members get the maximum value out of their membership.
- Work with Amazon-wide stakeholders, including UX, product, engineering partners, marketing, branding and other teams to improve customer experience
- Collaborate with design leadership and cross-functional partners throughout the product development lifecycle
- Advance design thinking by leveraging your technical expertise and supporting your team
- Thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment with minimal documentation and technical support
