Senior UX Designer
Overview Job Purpose Responsible for the design, documentation, and support of the user interface to optimize an engaging user experience for a variety of applications within ICE’s Mortgage Servicing division. Responsibilities Collaborates with other teams to gather requirements, creates visualization concepts, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for clients Collaborates with back-end development, visual design, product management, and customers Designs behaviors and functionality for current and future software applications using design specifications Develops process flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize a workable UI Studies how users feel about a system, evaluate perceptions of: ease of use, value of the system, utility, efficiency in performing tasks, etc. May assist with new user interface testing and participate in usability reviews Translates user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for web/mobile experiences May require travel up to 10% Performs other duties as required Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience Requires 7+ years of relevant experience Working experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, AdobeXD, etc. Preferred Experience with rapid prototyping Knowledge of relevant standards and best practices for design of modern, data-rich, and responsive applications Demonstrated skill of taking in complex data and designing UI/UX innovative data visualization to drive deeper insights Ability to communicate with non-designers and developers to find the middle ground Familiar with end-to-end web application development lifecycle Remain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary Proficient in design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, etc.) Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
