Our goal is to create best in class digital tools that will enable growers to better manage their commercial and agronomic farm operations and provide them with a unique integrated year-round digital experience.
An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our growing team on a full-time permanent basis. In this position, you will be responsible for crafting top-tier digital experiences within a multidisciplinary squad. Working closely with your squad and the broader Digital team, you’ll ensure that every detail is considered to design products and services for Nutrien Ag Solutions’ employees and customers that are intuitive, easy to use and address their needs.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• Lead squads through the entire process, from discovery to delivery, by identifying user needs, evaluating opportunities, testing hypotheses, and refining ideas into valuable products.
• Foster a collaborative, user-centred design environment within Nutrien, promoting decisions driven by insights.
• Advocate for customer needs, guiding the squad to focus on delivering true value rather than just features.
• Skilfully balance user needs, business goals, and technology constraints to iterate quickly and effectively.
• Present insights, learnings, and solutions clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
• Create, test, and refine concepts through wireframes and prototypes to develop effective solutions.
About You:
• Demonstrated success in a similar UX Design role at a senior level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex problems into clear, actionable design solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting design concepts, explaining rationale, and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct and analyse user research.
• Advanced skills in design and prototyping tools
• Experience in contributing to and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• In-depth knowledge of current UX trends and best practices and familiarity with agile development processes
• Prior experience of digital transformation and/or the ag industry is highly advantageous
