Kforce's client in Seattle, WA is seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Mendix Engineer to guide and mentor our front-end development team while playing a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our online banking platform. In this role, the Senior UX Engineer will collaborate closely with the business team, support UX/UI design initiatives, and mentor developers on best practices in front-end development and user-centered design. Candidates can only sit in the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. Responsibilities: * Support the design and development of the front-end of our online banking platform, focusing on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to translate business objectives into effective and user-friendly digital interfaces * Mentor and train other developers, providing technical and UX/UI design guidance to ensure a cohesive and efficient team * Take ownership of the overall UX strategy, ensuring design consistency, usability, and accessibility across all digital touchpoints * Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs to optimize the user experience * Establish and maintain UX and UI best practices, including wireframing, prototyping, responsive design, and accessibility standards * Collaborate with the business team to make design and technical recommendations that align with business goals and enhance the customer journey * Maintain, update, and continuously improve existing features and interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction * Conduct code reviews and design critiques to maintain high standards of quality in both code and design
