Your Impact As a Senior UX Researcher, you will work with a remote, cross-functional team of researchers and designers to uncover and understand user needs across a variety of problem areas. You will engage with product design and engineering teams to synthesize data and communicate insights. You will work across the research spectrum, from moderated exploratory interviews to surveys, always thinking of creative ways to get the data you need. Some of your basic responsibilities will include: * Design, plan, conduct, synthesize, and communicate user research projects with tools like Maze, Optimal Workshop, Miro, etc. to inform design, including but not limited to usability studies, heuristic evaluations, interviews, surveys, user personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and benchmarks. * Demonstrate skill and creativity in selecting and executing the right mix of methods (both qualitative and quantitative) to provide actionable recommendations to research questions and business goals. * Design user research surveys (with tools like Qualtrics) and analyze your results using basic descriptive analyses (like percentages, sums, and averages) and advanced statistics. * Communicate your findings in a clear, concise, and visual (as appropriate) manner to our key stakeholder project teams and provide recommendations to drive important action based on those findings. * Work closely with the UX and visual design teams to take your research into prototyping and visual mockups and use these mockups to conduct usability studies and further iterations. * Be a leader in the organization through external and internal eminence and formal and informal mentoring of less senior practitioners. Minimum Qualifications * Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is preferred and can substitute for 2 years of experience. * Minimum of 5 years of professional experience conducting design research, including at least 2 years in an in-house or product team environment within enterprise settings. * Demonstrated proficiency in designing and analyzing surveys using tools like Qualtrics, with at least 3 years of experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Ability to perform basic descriptive analyses and advanced statistical analyses. * Must have at least 3 years of experience contributing to initiatives that define the future of work in a technology environment. Demonstrated alignment with organizational goals related to innovation, speed, productivity, and competitive advantage, with at least 2 significant projects reflecting these objectives. * Must provide a portfolio with at least 3 examples of past research projects that resulted in measurable organizational impact, showcasing the ability to translate user insights into actionable recommendations.
