We’re building a Customer Experience team to drive innovation in UX research and development for next-generation mobility products and businesses opportunities.
As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobility. You'll dive deep into customer behaviors, uncover pain points and opportunities, and help to define our vision. Beyond leading impactful research projects, you'll contribute to the overall UX strategy, influencing groundbreaking mobility solutions.
This role goes beyond traditional automotive HMI—our work spans mobility products, services, transportation infrastructure, energy systems, and more. Position is based in Silicon Valley, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Independently or collaboratively conduct user research and usability studies to uncover valuable insights. Partner with external vendors and academia to identify user and customer needs and pinpoint gaps in their experiences. Analyze customer data from internal systems and external studies to reveal key needs and experience gaps. Collaborate closely with UX Designers to propose system solutions, design innovative concepts, and define project essentials such as principles, personas, journey maps, and use cases. Play a pivotal role in shaping and aligning the UX strategy for North America and on a global scale. Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the team’s overall success.Qualifications:
Requires a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Technology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Social Studies, Anthropology, Interface/Interaction Design, or a related field. Requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.Skills and Abilities:
Passion for user experience of society as a whole, especially related to mobility and automobile. Willingness to continue learning, stay curious and research new product domains and skills. Progressive thinking to make research activities valuable in the context of product and business development. Knowledge and experience of user research methodologies such as usability testing, focus group interviews, observational studies, quantitative and qualitative studies, diary studies. Knowledge and experience of data analytics methodologies such as regression analysis, correlation analysis, conjoint analysis, and cluster analysis. Knowledge of Human Factors in mobility product is preferred.Benefits Summary:
