Senior Venues Consultant

Joining Arup

Arup’s Venues team is a dynamic practice in experiential led design and planning for arts, culture & entertainment, with projects around the globe, as well as holistic audiovisual design for commercial and educational sectors. Our work spans a very broad range of projects from new-build performing arts, commercial and education facilities planning and related input to masterplanning and urban design, heritage and refurbishment of historic venues, strategic planning with non-profits, government bodies and private-sector developers, technological support to visual culture and story-led experience design, and creative work with artists. Our UK practice has a core group of acoustic, audiovisual and theatre consultants based in London, Southampton and Manchester.

We approach the field as a multi-disciplinary team and are deeply rooted in the belief that a holistic viewpoint and interdisciplinary collaboration is essential to helping our clients thrive in a rapidly changing world where cultural sustainability is more important than ever. Our aim is to be a team with varied but overlapping expertise, rooted in traditional theatre consultancy technical expertise, but willing and able to collaborate with, and often lead, teams with other skills from within and outside Arup to achieve the best results.
