Title and Summary
Senior Vice President, Head of Business Change, Vocalink LimitedThis is an exciting opportunity to oversee and drive organisation wide business transformation and change management for Vocalink Limited, a company that enables the payments of 90% of salaries, pension and benefits, 70% of utility bills, most ATM transactions and every cheque cleared in the UK.The successful candidate will become part of a high functioning leadership team, dedicated to delivering a robust, secure and resilient service to 60+million citizens every day with transactional volume of 11 billion/year and total annual transactional value in excess of £6Trillion.
The Head of Business Change is a senior management role, with a reporting line to the Vocalink Limited CEO. In partnership with the CEO, the appointee will be responsible for driving organisational transformation and change working closely with all operational areas of the business.
This critical Leadership role within Vocalink will lead and develop the strategy and execution of business change, directing strategic and regulatory initiatives and embed a culture of continuous improvement through the change team while meeting customer and regulatory delivery deadlines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tAccountable for VLL change portfolio and change assurance
•\tResponsible for day-to-day delivery of business change
•\tDeliver all elements of the change framework to facilitate change readiness and effectiveness
•\tProviding air traffic control of all ongoing and future change initiatives across the organisation
•\tDeveloping and maintaining standards, frameworks and processes for Business Change (incl. planning, prioritisation, delivery, monitoring)
•\tRun the program office that governs, prioritises and overseas the implementation of transformation and change initiatives including overseeing governance, process, people, risk management, business planning and regulatory change programs
•\tCollaborates with business teams (1LOD and 2LOD) to ensure changes are well defined and executed. Support all change communications, engagement and planning
•\tDrive complex management, analysis and decision-making across large-scale change programs associated with delivery of critical national infrastructure
•\tCreate and embed a prioritisation approach to develop a roadmap for change with the relevant processes, tools and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities
•\tProvide early visibility of change risks and issues as well as escalation.
•\tManage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout Mastercard / customer and partners to continue delivering effective internal change that achieves the stated objectives. Engage customers/partners in strategic dialogue and partnerships
•\tDefine scheme, 3rd party change governance standards, methodology and related playbooks
•\t3LoD role in line within the Risk Management Framework
All About You:
•\tExtensive transformation and/or substantive project delivery experience in Real-Time Payment (RTP) context and experience in and application of risk management frameworks
•\tHave relevant experience of working in a complex (preferably multi-national) stakeholder environment that includes complex customers and experience of working with regulator (Bank of England supervision)
•\tHave an understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), lean portfolio management and agile working practices
•\tPrevious experience in defining and implementing Target Operating Models for change and transformation
•\tExtensive experience working and operating effectively at executive level including working with a Board of Directors
•\tUnderstanding of the SDLC, lean portfolio management and agile working practices
•\tStrong influencing skills; organizationally savvy
•\tEmbodies and demonstrates the Mastercard Way operating values
•\tAbility to motivate, inspire and lead people effectively
•\tPrince2 certification and practitioner or demonstrable experience in Prince2; or an equivalent methodology e.g. Association for Project Management (APM)
