Job Description

Overview:
This position requires a highly motivated person to assist in the day-to-day management of investment across TV, CTV, Digital, OOH, and Radio. The Senior Vice President, Investment will be responsible for activating strategic plan development and all aspects of implementation. This individual will learn and embody Zenith’s vision of Live ROI as a mantra and manage several direct reports.

Role Objectives:

Lead investment, activation, partnerships, thought leadership, and marketplace navigation across all aforementioned channelsManage a staff of 30+ high-performing professionals (ranging from Associates to VPs) on media industry, brand-building best practices, negotiation skills, and crafting elevated media narrativesDrive innovation via unparalleled determination and ability to push boundaries with partnersPossess intimate knowledge of enterprise-level business priorities and challenges, consumer habits and touchpoints, and up-to-date consumption trends across all channelsDeliver on annual cost guarantee via aggressive negotiations and solution-oriented savings approachBroker large-scale partnerships in the form of industry-best Upfront investments, JBPs, etc.Liaise between media and creative on both agency side and client sideDevelop go-to-market strategy and budget allocation based on deep knowledge of media channels, marketplace dynamics, KPIsAdvise clients and direct reports on marketplace conditions, media inflation projections, and first-to-market opportunitiesCompile and deliver presentations on both high-level and campaign tactical media recommendations in high-stakes, dynamic settingsLeverage deep connections with major players at media networks and publishers on behalf of clientsCraft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities with an innovation-first mindsetPlay a leading role in all aspects of campaign management, including partner liaison and deliveryOversee all aspects of activation from buying to trafficking, to posting to reporting, to billing reconciliationServe as point of escalation across all investment and marketplace matters

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related fieldAgency experience highly preferredSports experience highly preferred12+ years of experience working in media investment buying environmentExperience negotiating larger upfront deals, JBPsMust have excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation, follow-though skillsMust have strong analytical, research, and quantitative skillsMust be hard-working, resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment
