Position Overview:
The Regional/Market Lead is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence in the assigned region or market. This position requires a business-builder mindset, focusing on expanding sales channels, developing relationships with key stakeholders, originating new work, and driving add-on business from existing clients. The Regional/Market Lead plays a critical role in recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent to build a high-performing team. They are also responsible for delivering quality projects on time and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sell Work and Drive Revenue:
Develop and execute a growth plan to drive year-over-year revenue and profitability.Expand sales channels by cultivating relationships with brokers, contractors, architects, and other influencers.Partner with specialty practice leaders to expand offerings and create innovative solutions.Originate work by directly selling to prospective clients in the market.Identify and capitalize on add-on business opportunities from existing clients.Recruit, Develop, and Retain Top Talent:
Build and lead a high-performing team by recruiting professionals with potential and cultural fit.Continuously recruit and network to maintain a strong talent pipeline.Coach, mentor, and promote the development of professionals with potential.Implement individual development plans and succession planning strategies.Foster a culture of taking care of and celebrating team members.Scope and Deliver Quality Projects:
Demonstrate expertise in scoping and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.Develop project staffing and fee models aligned with business goals.Oversee project delivery and ensure quality control.Promote team member learning and development to enhance project performance.Foster strong client relationships to drive client satisfaction and build loyalty.Broker Sales Channel:
Recognize the critical role of brokers in PDS market leadership success.Understand and meet brokers' needs and expectations as strategic partners.Build and maintain long-term relationships of trust and competence with brokers.Consider pricing strategies to meet brokers' expectations while ensuring profitability.Utilize technology platforms and campaigns to maximize broker engagement.Legal & Financials:
Adhere to legal requirements in project and development services.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in collaboration with accounting.Interpret financials and reports to derive business insights.Define and track financial metrics of success for the organization.Optimize expense management to maximize profitability.Data & Technology:
Utilize relevant platforms and tools to enhance operational efficiency.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.Leverage data and technology for data-driven decision making.Business Operations:
Oversee all aspects of business operations in the region or market.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and aligned goals.Implement process improvements and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.The Regional/Market Lead serves as a key leader within the organization, exhibiting servant leadership principles, fostering a positive work environment, and actively contributing to personal and leadership development.
