CASUALTY BROKER Are you ready to join a dynamic team? We are seeking to employ a Casualty Broker at the Senior Vice President or Vice President level on the Casualty team of our Insurance Brokerage Division. Your daily responsibilities and impact: + Design, placement, negotiation and servicing of Bermuda based markets writing Casualty coverage; + Preparation and presentation of proposals for renewal and new business opportunities; + Considerable interaction with clients, senior underwriters and overseas executives; + Any other duties of a similar nature as identified by senior management; + Business travel and frequent client entertainment outside of normal business hours. Required skills and experience that will lead to success: + A University Degree (with a major in business or insurance preferable) or an insurance related qualification (CPCU/ACII/ARM); + A minimum of 15 years of recent and relevant experience (for SVP) with an emphasis on major North American commercial accounts across a wide variety of industry classes. The minimum experience requirement for VP candidates is 10 years and 5 years for AVP candidates; + Expertise in occurrence, occurrence-reported and claims-made liability policy forms; + Practical judgement and decision making skills in immediate situations; + Well developed business, communication, teamwork and social skills together with capabilities for strengthening market relationships; + Strong interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills. + Strong digital literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Software, such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Webex.
