What this job involves:

Work together with the India Head of Capital Markets to deliver the Business Plan and Operating Plan in line with corporate/ country guidelines,Contribute to APAC Capital Markets plans as requiredDrive for results and sustainable success, within specified geography/service line and across the countryEnsure thorough and professional execution of any project or transaction by guiding the team on managing the transaction process including, financial analysis, target identification, deal structuring (Joint Development, JV, Outright, Redevelopment), negotiation, legal and commercial due diligence in Land / Asset monetization transactionsStrengthen relationships with key account clients and key decision makers in the regionPrepare information memorandums, financial analysis - CMA, analytical, market intelligence reportsPreparation of marketing materials such as presentations, proposals & other EOI documents and ensure timeliness and accuracy of deliverables such as cash flows and presentationsManage the entire transaction process including, financial analysis, target identification, deal structuring (Joint Development, JV, Outright, Redevelopment), negotiation, legal and commercial due diligenceProactively engage in business development activities through networking, industry seminars, leveraging the existing relationships of other business units. Particularly focussing on large scale institutional owners, corporates and purchasers each of the core markets, with a specialised focus on India.  Additional focus on developing and building capability in  indirect real estate products (funds, securitisation, REITS etc)Lead and guide the team in business development activities through networking, client calling, industry seminars, leveraging the existing relationships of other business units focusing on real estate capital markets transactionAssess client requirements, initiate & maintain client interactions, provide inputs on key transaction metrics, participate in proposal discussionsGuide the team in managing the entire transaction process including, financial analysis, target identification, deal structuring (Joint Development, JV, Outright, Redevelopment), negotiation, legal and commercial due diligence in Land / Asset monetization transactionsEnsuring optimum client service delivery and engagement - calls, meetings, site visits, presentations, follow up, accurate & timely submission of company proposals to prospective clientele and overall governance during the execution phase

MBA Finance / CA / CFA with 12 – 15 years of experience in Investment banking, transaction services (Real estate sector experience will be preferred)Position is based out of Mumbai and hence geographical familiarity of Mumbai / MMR is expectedCapital raising (Debt / Equity) in banking industry background is preferredStrong number crunching and analytical skills – proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a prerequisite to this positionTransaction AdvisoryFinancial ModellingPresentationBusiness DevelopmentNegotiation
