Senior Vice President - Strategic Advisory, Portfolio Analytics

How you'll make an impact Build, lead and manage a team dedicated to delivering growth and cycle management insights on P&C insurance leveraging Gallagher Re’s proprietary portfolio data Lead client projects, delivering data-driven analysis to support strategic recommendations Play a role developing our value proposition, using entrepreneurial and innovative approaches to new products and solutions Project mange internal product development using new technologies and frameworks to explore, analyze and visualize internal and external data Build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create opportunities to deliver strategic advisory services Leverage big data technologies and statistical analysis platforms to improve the efficiency of the data driven products developed by Gallagher and Gallagher Re Playing a role in developing and managing the analyst pool About You 8+ years experience in a strategic and analytical role with a focus on the P&C insurance / reinsurance industry. Relevant experience would include actuarial, corporate strategy, management consulting, underwriting, broking, rating agency, or financial planning Proven ability of delivering differentiated analytics to facilitate performance, growth and cycle management decisions within an insurance company Proven ability to lead teams on time sensitive projects Comfortable with client interactions with C-suite level project sponsors Willingness to travel Bachelor's degree Desired: Actuary, CFA, MBA or similar Experience with strategic underwriting or growth initiatives within P&C insurance Project management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI a plus. Experience with US statutory and GAAP accounting for insurance companies SNL/S&P CapIQ knowledge and experience Work Traits: Ability to juggle competing demands and prioritize what needs to get done The ability to present complex concepts to a wide audience. Excellent attention to detail.
