Job Summary
Direct, control and monitor warehousing and distribution of materials or finished goods. Responsible for receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment. Plans the movement of materials to ensure the efficiency of warehouse operations.
Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. Plan, implement and control the movement and storage of goods and services from the point of origin to the point of consumption. Aim to conform to customer requirements and delivery of finished goods or services efficiently and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare customer orders by processing bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and customs documentsProcess inbound supplies using SAP to ensure timely receipts.Work closely with the warehouse stocking team to transfer inventory to correct locations within the factorySchedule outbound deliveriesAssist drivers with the check-in processAdditional duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse/shipping dock (or similar) role preferredBe willing to participate in a team environmentBe comfortable in an environment with changing prioritiesBe comfortable with logistics terminology and familiar with shipping/receiving documentsHave previous experience with SAP softwareHave experience with general office equipment and processesPreferred Skills & Abilities

Hourly Range for this position is: $21.00 to $27.00 per hour, and bonus target is 3%; shift premium may be available depending on shift associated with the specific job opportunity. Benefits include Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA), Retirement and Security benefits including 401k and Life Insurance. In addition to Paid Time Off and paid Holidays, each employee receives 16 hours paid time each calendar year to perform volunteer services for Nordson-sponsored events. The base pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
