We are seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm. Responsibilities Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects, with responsibility and authority for budget, schedule contractual obligations, and quality standardsNegotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companiesMay have responsibility for several projects concurrentlyInitiates and maintains extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issuesHas responsibility for preparing proposals, conducting interviews, and negotiating contracts with clients after selectionDevelops and maintains significant relationships with client management personnelDelivers high quality services within budget and schedule constraintsIdentifies need for and directs subconsultants performing services on projectsActive in professional associations, including presentations of technical papers, member of technical committees, and officer of local or national organizationTravel required when requested Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical EngineeringRegistration as a Professional Engineer10-15 years of directly-relevant experience in Wastewater Engineering working with wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems5+ years of project management experienceMust have demonstrated ability and experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized infrastructure projectsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and project teamProficient in MS Word and ExcelPreferred Qualifications Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Other Compensation and Benefits
