MUST HAVE:
Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Minimum 12 years of technical experience, with no less than 5 years in project management or team leadership.
Proven experience leading the design of water and wastewater pipelines, force mains, pump stations, lift stations, treatment plants, water supply systems, and solids handling facilities.
Strong understanding of current water and wastewater regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets while overseeing design, QA/QC, and project workloads.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and clients.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Role Overview Seeking a technically competent and experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for immediate hire in our Austin, TX office. As a subject matter expert in water and wastewater engineering, you will lead teams, plan, analyze, and design projects for municipalities across Central Texas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of water and wastewater pipelines, force mains, pump stations, lift stations, treatment plants, water supply systems, and solids handling facilities.
Prepare plans, specifications, cost opinions, schedules, and permits for preliminary and final designs.
Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets while overseeing design, QA/QC, and project workloads.
Simultaneously manage multiple projects and clients.
Coordinate design drawings with the CAD team.
Maintain regular communication with clientele and project team members, including conducting regular project meetings.
Work with the marketing team to pursue opportunities, prepare technical proposals, and support business development efforts.
Collaborate with the financial team on fee proposals, project forecasting, reporting, and invoicing.
Perform equipment evaluations and develop technical reports.
Light travel, primarily between Austin and San Antonio, as project needs arise.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Licensed PE in the State of Texas for at least 3 years.
Minimum 12 years of technical experience, with 5+ years in project management.
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater regulations.
Proven leadership experience and ability to take projects from start to successful completion.
