Senior Water/Wastewater System Operator
Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Operator to manage the day-to-day operations in the Midland-Odessa, Texas area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating water treatment and distribution activities to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of water services to our customers. Day to day:  Manage and supervise the operation of drinking water treatment facilities and distribution systems in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.  Monitor water quality parameters and conduct regular testing to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.  Coordinate maintenance and repairs of equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.  Collaborate with regulatory agencies and participate in inspections and audits to maintain compliance with industry regulations.  Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot issues to minimize service interruptions and ensure continuous water supply.  Maintain accurate records and reports related to water operations, including production data, maintenance logs, and regulatory documentation.  Travel within a 100 miles radius of Midland, TX to 5 different travel centers (each center has different frequency for weekly visits) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent  Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in water treatment and distribution operations.  Valid Class C Water Operator License in the state of Texas(Class D would be acceptable if a Class C was obtainable within a year)  Strong knowledge of drinking water treatment processes, equipment, and systems.  Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.  Effective communication and interpersonal skills.  Proficiency in computer applications for data management and reporting.
