We’re looking for a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate – Portfolio Manager Analyst
A wealth management team within the UBS Private Wealth Management division is seeking a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate (SWSA) to support its senior Portfolio Manager. The PM manages two portfolio models across approximately 900 separate accounts covering $1.1B AUM. The SWSAs primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies within the large cap GARP sector, providing valuable insights to support our investment decisions. The SWSA will be actively engaged with the senior PM to provide new intellectual capital, will be an integral part of our team, and will have a direct impact on the portfolio.
Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports for the PM highlighting fundamental and technical KPIs using data resources including FactSet, Zacks, Bloomberg databases and UBS IB internal resources.
• Support PM by listening to daily UBS IB research calls, reading equity strategy research notes and summarizing relevant information on portfolio companies.
• Stay current on earnings calls and conference presentations for portfolio companies to summarize for PM.
• Monitor and evaluate existing portfolio holdings, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Generate new investment ideas – prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal discussions with PM.
• Support model maintenance activity including cash deployment and model rebalancing using trading platform tools. Develop and implement process for efficient portfolio model maintenance.
• Collaborate with the financial advisor partners and team members to communicate portfolio strategy, performance, and onboard new client accounts into the strategies.
• Proactively manage tax efficiency
