ASRC Federal Data Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator Level IV to support our NOAA programs in Silver Spring, Maryland.

 

This role is a 100% on site position.

 

Key Role:

Provide support for windows server systems running on windows 2012/2016/2019. Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM’s, deploying new VM’s and working with application teams on Middleware support. Lead team of Junior admins in resolving system issues

Help Junior Admins with Patching servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Windows environment Update Ansible with automation scripts and write Ansible scripts to optimize SA work Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Windows environment Manage and maintain repo server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos Manage active Directory and DNS Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM’s Will serve as the systems architect for improving and optimizing the current state, and designing and building the next generation infrastructure. Must excel at troubleshooting extremely complex problems to resolution.
