Senior Wintel Engineer Position

Introduction: We are seeking a Senior Wintel / Azure Cloud Engineer with at least 7 years of experience to provide comprehensive technical support and ensure the efficient operation of our IT systems. This role focuses on managing support tickets, troubleshooting performance issues, handling system access, and resolving email-related problems. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows Server Operating Systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and Intermediate knowledge of Azure  

Objectives:

Provide prompt and effective resolution of support tickets.

·       Assist with Technical projects

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across IT systems. Manage and control access to organizational systems.

·       Patch Windows Server Operating systems using SCCM.

Address and resolve email-related issues.

Responsibilities:

Support Tickets: Monitor, prioritize, and resolve support tickets submitted by users. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues. Troubleshooting Performance Issues: Diagnose and resolve performance issues affecting hardware, software, and network systems. Implement solutions to enhance system performance. System Access: Manage user access to systems, including account creation, permission settings, and access troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with security policies. Email Issues: Provide support for email-related problems, including configuration, connectivity, and security issues. Assist users with email client setup and troubleshooting.

Deliverables:

Efficient management and resolution of support tickets. Improved system performance through effective troubleshooting. Secure and well-managed user access to systems. Timely resolution of email-related issues.

Qualifications:

Must be available 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Melbourne time), Monday to Friday. Proven experience as a Wintel Engineer or similar role. Expert knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows Operating Systems. Basic knowledge of Azure. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills.
