Kent Recovery Houses is a three stage trauma informed supported housing project that is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Worker- Housing Lead.
You will work alongside a dedicated and motivated team working across two sites located in Folkestone and Canterbury.
You will be supporting residents throughout their recovery journey, to build the skills and confidence required to maintain abstinence, stablity and progress to independent living.
Where: Folkestone and Canterbury
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £31,529.41- £33,708.56 (pro rata for part time hours)
ResponsibilitiesA fantastic opportunity has arisen to become a Senior Worker - Housing Lead working closely with the project manager, team and residents at the Kent Recovery Houses.
You will be responsible for taking the lead in all aspects of housing management, health and safety, as well as to provide one to one key works with our residents in relation to tenancy sustainment and move on support.
You would also facilitate groups covering, budgeting, life skills and move on, to support the progression and maximise the opportunities available to our residents.
No two days are the same, and we treat every person who enters our service as an individual, so being flexible, empathetic, curious and a good listener are key.
If you are highly motivated with the ability to work in a trauma informed approach with an excellent knowledge of both housing Management and the benefit system then we would love to hear from you.
