As a Senior Workload/Staffing Analyst, you will perform a complex and varied role that supports Walt Disney World Transportation Operations and have a direct hand in shaping the Transportation experience for our Guests. As a part of the Transportation Logistics and Analytics team, you will collect and analyze a variety of ridership, scheduling, operations, financial, and field data. You will combine that data into a cohesive and compelling story, then communicate that story to key partners to influence strategic decisions and move the business forward. You will also identify opportunities to enhance the Guest experience and work collaboratively to develop possible solutions in a demand-based transit system. 


If selected, you will report to the Manager, Forecasting & Analytics. This is a salaried role without direct reports.

Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and quickly understand the business needs and intended outcomes
•    Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake objects such as schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions to support reporting requirements
•    Use programming languages to compile complex data into a format that reporting tools can efficiently handle to deliver high-quality presentations to Executive audiences
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, financial analysts, and workforce management, to deliver impactful forecasting and reporting solutions
•    Influence partner initiatives using a data-centric approach by translating strategy into action
•    Provide training to end users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of tools

Required Skills and Experience:
•    Experience in data analytics, master data management, data governance, strategy management, or a related field
•    Expertise in scripting languages such as SQL and Python, and experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
•    Experience developing Executive-level reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Git)
•    Ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across backgrounds and functions

Required Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
