The Workplace Team provides overall in-house support to the Brisbane office. We manage the front-of-house, event coordination, and back-of-house operations including fleet vehicles, mobile phones and work from home kits. Coordination of supplies, consumables and office equipment in Brisbane and various project sites across northern Australia. Our aim is to be the ‘general knowledge specialists’ and connect people with the right solutions.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organised and efficient Senior Workplace Coordinator to join our team in Fortitude Valley. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our workplace operations, ensuring a productive and comfortable environment for all employees.
What will a day in this role look like:
Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients and vendors at our Brisbane office, creating a positive impression.Manage the day-to-day workplace operations across our SEQ Portfolio (Brisbane, Gold Coast and Maroochydore) including managing office services, space planning, event coordination, AV support, office supplies.Coordinate with vendors, service suppliers and building management to ensure the timely delivery of maintenance, planning of events, delivery of services and office upgrades.Work closely with our landlord and other stakeholders on a variety of issues – demonstrating your ability to be organised and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.Play an active part in our Health & Safety policy, ensuring the workplace is neat and tidy and actioning any issues quickly.QualificationsThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. What are we looking for from you?
Ideally, around 5+ years’ experience in workplace coordination, facilities management or operations management with a customer-centric focus.Outstanding people and communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.Excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Suite with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly and efficiently. Exposure to AV systems is advantageous.Proven ability to multi-task and problem solve, with strong organisational skills.A track record of working within a tight-knit team and delegating tasks as required.Valid Drivers License (essential) and current (or willing to be trained) Fire Warden and First Aid trained.Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to work full-time from our Brisbane office from 8:30 – 5pm. At times, before and after support may be required to support business needs.
