Welcome to Wärtsilä Netherlands! We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Senior technicians for our Engine Components Workshop in Schiedam to strengthen our dynamic team.

 

As a Senior Technician at Wärtsilä you get the opportunity to:

Taking the lead to include the teams and projects. Train juniors, BOL and BBL students. Overhauling, repairing, rebuilding and inspecting maritime engine parts. To be able to work according to official OEM protocols, accurately, cleanly and to strive for perfection. Work independently on projects. Be a team player within a diverse and inclusive team of technical professionals.

 

What you will do:

Assessing and measuring components in the workshop. Dismantling, inspecting, assembling and measuring engine parts. Resolving deviations in collaboration with the workshop foreman and team leader. Working according to strict quality and safety guidelines.

 

What we expect from you:

A professional education in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field. Technical knowledge and experience with mechanical assembly. Ability to include technical drawings and instructions. Knowledge of repair procedures. Dutch and good command of English.
