We are seeking a dynamic Business Systems Analyst with extensive expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), particularly with UiPath, and a proven history of implementing RPA solutions for accounting and finance systems. This critical position will focus on identifying automation opportunities, improving operational efficiency, and mitigating risks in key financial operations.
Position Summary: As the Business Systems Analyst (RPA Specialist), you will lead automation initiatives tailored to accounting and finance processes. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement optimized RPA workflows using UiPath, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise financial systems, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with business objectives. Your technical expertise and hands-on experience with finance functions will help enhance operational accuracy and streamline financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to identify and prioritize process automation opportunities, including those in ERP platforms, payroll systems, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
+ Perform workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement areas, recommending tailored RPA solutions.
+ Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA workflows using UiPath, ensuring compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards.
+ Integrate automation solutions with enterprise software systems, such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or other ERP platforms, driving operational scalability.
+ Create and maintain detailed documentation, including current/future process flows, use cases, and technical requirements, to standardize and scale automation initiatives.
+ Rigorously test, debug, and validate RPA bots to ensure high accuracy, reliability, and adherence to financial processes.
+ Monitor, maintain, and continuously enhance deployed RPA solutions to adapt to evolving business and operational needs.
+ Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to accounting and finance teams to maximize the effective use of RPA tools.
+ Stay informed about advancements in RPA, particularly new UiPath technologies, to identify innovative solutions and best practices.
+ Ensure all RPA initiatives comply with regulatory and governance requirements, including SOX and other audit standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ At least 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with 2+ years dedicated to RPA implementation in accounting and finance environments.
+ Proven expertise in UiPath development, implementation, and management; UiPath certifications (e.g., Certified Advanced RPA Developer) are preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of accounting and finance operations, especially in areas like general ledger management, reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
+ Hands-on experience integrating RPA solutions with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday) and financial software tools.
+ Comprehensive understanding of the RPA lifecycle, including research, process assessment, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
+ Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with acute attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across finance and IT teams.
+ Familiarity with compliance and governance requirements (e.g., SOX, audit processes) and the ability to ensure regulatory adherence in RPA solutions.
