Summary: Goldbelt Frontier is seeking Sensory Scientist V in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Develop and implement sensory evaluation protocols and methodologies. Conduct sensory testing and analysis to assess product quality, attributes, and consumer preferences. Analyze data using statistical techniques and sensory software. Provide sensory insights to influence product development, improvement, and innovation. Translate sensory data into actionable insights to enhance product formulation and sensory profiles. Managing a research laboratory, including technicians and other junior scientists. Expected to execute their assigned projects, as a Principal Investigator, by developing protocols, completing data collection, data analyses, and report generation. Expected to write proposals, reports and publications, and present their findings in meetings. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Requires excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledgeable in a relevant field of sensory neuroscience (e.g., audition,) and have experience working in a research laboratory in the field of acoustics. Demonstrated their ability to independently plan, execute, analyze, and report on their research through their graduate dissertation. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in auditory/acoustical science or neuroscience. Must have at least 5 years of related experience. Experience in consumer testing and sensory panel management. Possess and maintain the appropriate licensure, certification, or credentials. Be in good standing and under no restrictions with the state licensure board in any state in which a license is held or has been held. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated their subject matter expertise in one of three neurosensory areas (vision, audition, or vestibular science) with notable publications in sensory Pay and Benefits At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
