Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer / Systems Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do:

Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for Support EquipmentWork with Design, Integrated Logistics Support, Specialty Engineering, and project management in development of Support Equipment for mission operational system on the Sentinel program to apply concepts and practices to Support EquipmentAnalysis and perform Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) for Support Equipment Architecture developmentRequirements development using Requirements management tools (DOORS)Perform analyses at all levels of product lifecycle to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either the Associate Engineer Systems level (T01) or Engineer Systems level (T02).

Associate Systems Engineer (T01): Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 1 year of Engineering experience

Systems Engineer (T02): Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree

Required for Both Levels:

Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 yearsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needKnowledge/training in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)Knowledge/Experience with Requirements management tools (DOORS, for example)

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of System Engineering (SE) process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integrationExperience with the following tools: CAMEO, DOORS, Confluence, and JIRAUnderstands Support Equipment and uses, i.e., Peculiar (PSE) and Common (CSE) Support EquipmentExperience with Sentinel programExperience in Model Based Systems EngineeringExperience with large scale aerospace/defense projects

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $63,900.00 - $95,900.00Salary Range 2: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
