Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team of talented and diverse individuals supporting the SDS Division at our Roy, UT location. The successful candidate will support the SAP industrial security PERSEC (personnel security) team.
What You’ll Get To Do
These tasks include (but are not limited to):
Database entry and maintenance pertaining to personnel folders, classified safes, and other NISPOM compliance requirementsProduces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cardsProcesses security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property controlCollects and submits electronic fingerprints, handprints and optical reading into systemsMaintains lock and key recordsProcesses visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areasVerifies accuracy of information prior to issuing clearancesMaintains controlled security documents and informationSupporting a fast-paced high-profile environmentCreate, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customersMeticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheetsPerforms clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilitiesManage secure conference room calendars and offer security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assignedGeneral Personnel Security duties: Personnel Security Questionnaires, Program Access Requests, etc.Position Benefits

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experienceMust be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need with an investigation date within the last 6 yearsExperienced with computers and desktopsExperienced with Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel etc...)These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule and DoDM 5205.07 V1-4 L Self-starter with minimal supervisionProficient with ESIS/SIMSCompleted security training (ex. CDSE) is a plusWorking knowledge of the JADE databaseBasic knowledge of access controls and security systems Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areasAbility to excel in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentExcellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications and customer serviceSalary Range: $50,500.00 - $84,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
