Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Principal Cloud Engineer / Sr. Principal Cloud Engineer – 13946 & 13972. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.
- This role is with the Digital Ecosystem Segment focuses on developing automation for cloud deployments, assisting with migration efforts from on-prem systems to the cloud, and providing operational cloud support to the Sentinel program.
- Create custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Automate compliance and security checks where possible using custom scripts
- Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly
- Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures

Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00Salary Range 2: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
