Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Principal Configuration Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position is in Roy, UT and will support the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team on the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What you will get to do:
This role will report to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead and will work directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting, Familiarity with development and transfer of technical baselines, and conducting configuration audits,Developing Data Management products, knowledge, and experience with both Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) processes. Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems, must be able to perform research and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance.Plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives.Provide detailed CM/DM subject matter knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders when requested. This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience or master’s degree with 3 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of CM/DM experience may be used in place of a degree.3 years of direct Configuration Management or Data Management experience, standards and practices.Must have an Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience administering configuration and data management using GIT Lab, Nexus, Siemens Teamcenter, Jira, SharePoint, Cameo, DOORS.Experience with design, process automation, and access control in SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems.Current Active Top-Secret Clearance.Previous work supporting programs which used EIA-649-1, MIL-HDBK-61, or GEIA-859.Experience developing and maintaining program plans and process documents.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication.Salary Range: $76,600.00 - $115,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
