How You’ll Support Our Mission
The ESO Marketing team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Website Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. As a SEO & Website Specialist for ESO you will help create and execute marketing strategies to support our mission to grow ESO globally. In this role you will drive SEO strategies, support website updates, and analyse performance metrics to support our online marketing efforts. This role is perfect for someone with a basic understanding of SEO, website and digital marketing principles who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing - The Day to Day
SEO Strategy & Execution Support
Conduct keyword research, selection, and analysis to ensure optimal targeting Collaborate with our content team for on-page SEO elements to optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, linking strategies and on-page elements Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for improved performance Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive organic traffic Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush, and other SEO software Stay up to date on Google algorithm updates and SEO trends, adapting strategies as needed Regularly report on key metrics and provide insight and recommendations for improved performanceWebsite Management & Optimization Support
Partner alongside the Digital Marketing Manager and our third-party website development agency to maintain, update and fulfill ESO’s website roadmap Work cross-functionally within marketing to ensure website content is optimized for both search engines and users Manage day-to-day website updates and content uploads and ensure website structure and content align with UX/UI Track and work on resolving website issues including broken links, 404 errors, site indexing problems Analyze website metrics to maintain, optimize, and improve performance including engagement and conversion KPIs alongside page load speed, mobile responsiveness, etc.Who You Are - The Essentials
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fieldExperience:
Basic Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts. Experience managing Google Business Profiles, local citations, and multi-location SEO strategies Analytical skills and ability to translate data into actional insightsSkills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Excel for data analysis and reporting Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and others.Who You Are - The Desirables (It’s a plus if you have):
Previous work experience in SEO, website management, and digital marketing. Experience with web content management systems (e.g. WordPress) Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor site adjustments and troubleshooting Experience in industries such as B2B, or software technology.ESO is a fast-paced, growing data, technology, and research company passionate about improving community health and safety through the power of data.
