JOB SUMMARY
The SEO Specialist at Charter supports the implementation of SEO strategies through focusing on keyword research, on-page and off-page optimizations, structured data, and technical SEO audits. This role involves optimizing content for Local SEO and GEO, assisting with competitive landscape analysis, and monitoring SEO performance across multiple sites and platforms. They provide detailed reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay updated on industry trends.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to support both on-page and off-page SEO, including Local SEO and GEO targeting.Recommend and QA on-page SEO optimizations, such as meta tags, headings, and content enhancements.Execute off-page SEO tactics, including managing Google My Business, optimizing the Knowledge Graph, and building links.Recommend structured data markup to improve search engine understanding and visibility of website content.Monitor and analyze SEO and SERP performance metrics, providing detailed reports and insights on the effectiveness of SEO initiatives, including structured data and competitive landscape efforts.Assist the Creative team in optimizing content for SEO and GEO, ensuring alignment with broader SEO strategies, while collaborating to integrate SEO best practices into content development.Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to site performance, crawlability, and indexing.Support competitive landscape analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Manage and track SEO projects using a project management platform, ensuring timely completion and alignment with objectives.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in front- and back-end search engine optimization with ownership over site performance - 2+Experience with website analytics applications (Adobe Analytics preferred) and SEO tools such as Semrush, ScreamingFrog, Google Search Console. - 2+Experience with data analysis, interpretation, presentation, and delivery - 2+PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
