Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a SEO Specialist for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Specialist to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, implementing SEO best practices, and analyzing performance metrics to improve search engine rankings. You will collaborate closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to execute SEO strategies that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct keyword research and develop SEO strategies to improve website rankings.
+ Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, and internal linking structure.
+ Perform technical SEO audits and work with developers to resolve issues.
+ Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
+ Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
+ Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO-friendly content.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
+ Track and report on key SEO metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
+ Assist with local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile optimization.
+ Research and implement strategies for voice search and mobile SEO.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related role.
+ Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
+ Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
+ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO purposes is a plus.
+ Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal).
+ Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
