**About the Role**
We are looking for a Portfolio Management Associate that will be a key part of the firm’s Separate Accounts team. Based in New York, this role will assist Portfolio Managers with accounts comprised of different real estate assets across the U.S..
**What You Will Do**
+ Contribute to investment execution as needed for the portfolios - acquisitions, dispositions, financings, refinancing, loan modifications, capex investment, strategic leasing decisions, Investment Committee recommendations, etc.
+ Lead key, recurring portfolio management processes, including:
+ Quarterly: valuations (appraisals) and portfolio reporting to internal and external clients/constituents, performance forecasting
+ Semi-annual: internal forecasting (underwriting) and portfolio reporting to a subset of the Americas Investment Committee
+ Annual: budgets and business plans
+ As part of the above: digest/summarize and make recommendations to the Portfolio Managers
+ Collaborate with a wide range of teams on the following:
+ Asset Management
+ Transactions (Acquisitions)
+ Property and Fund Financing
+ Financial Operations and Investment Accounting & Reporting
+ Performance Analytics
+ Client Care and Client Solutions
+ Insights & Intelligence (Research)
+ Sustainability
+ Respond to client inquiries
+ Responsibility for all aspects of account modeling, for existing and future separate accounts.
+ Train and mentor portfolio management analyst(s)
+ Contribute on capital raising efforts (including but not limited to coordinating due diligence meetings, crafting responses to questionnaires), as needed
**What You Will Need**
+ Bachelor’s degree with real estate, business, finance preferred
+ Minimum of five years of real estate investment and portfolio management experience, preferably working on diversified U.S. funds (closed-end or open-end) , separate accounts, or portfolios
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Excellent Excel and Argus modeling skills (including building Excel models and knowledge of Python and SQL).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas/conclusions/recommendations persuasively and defend in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
+ Excellent project management/process leadership skills
+ Must be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, and able to prioritize multiple concurrent projects with an ability to independently identify and tackle key issues.
+ Efficient, collaborative, adaptable working style.
+ Desire and ability to train and help grow analysts.

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $160,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE IM’s applicable benefit program.
