Job Description

Ensures production volume and size achievement based on Curing mid-term demand, by sequencing appropriately the production areas via the use of SAP PP/CGMS and related modules

Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and dutiesDemonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate othersSequencing of production in tire manufacture for curing, green tire assembly, component, required sub-components and compound for plant production areas to achieve optimal production output and size achievement as per the agreed plan with plant operationsControlling the phase-in and phase-out processes in all areas of tire productionRegular monitoring with-in the shift of order achievement for all responsible production processes to SAP PPInitiate and communicate the required corrective actions and changes to the order sequence to Production processes to minimize/avoid production losses. Regular reporting of current statusTransparently communicates the gaps and hindering factors in the production sequence (e.g., process, quality, machine reliability limitation)Breakdown the daily curing plan into a feasible sequence for mixing. Taking into account plant constraints, quality requirements and KPIsOptimizes the lot size and stock structure to ensure cold & hot preparation do not lack of compoundsEnsures the preparation sequencing planner are trained on Mixing sequencing processes as they will act as back-up during the shift (after 5PM and over the weekend)Works with the Release Team to speed-up the release of compound and decision-making (e.g. Block & Quality status)Coordinates with PI & CM Coordinator to define enough recipes. Processes to be defined to be autonomous during the shift (e.g., virgin recipe, X% CM)Supports the Master Planner during the pre-planning process to ensure Mixing constraints have been consideredTracks the weekly compound complexity (no. of Master Batch, no. of Final Mix)Prepares the information (throughput, CUD plan vs. actual) to generate the monthly POR charts (e.g)Fills-in the monthly Order Achievement reports provided by IE in preparation of the monthly incentivesStrives for optimizing the reporting structure (e.g., priority on using the available systems: SAP PP, SAP APO, CGMS). Works closely with Mustang LKU, IT and MSM to define the needs for digitalizationWorks with ETO/ISD team to ensure the right amount of compounds and master roll are planned considering the subsequent processes variation (e.g., buffer compound for sensitive ETO/ISD) do not delay the production sequenceCoordinates with Plant Operation to considers the fluctuation of raw material and compound demand in the production sequence. A special attention is required for the phase-in / phase-out of compound during shutdown periodEnsures that ETO orders are scheduled according to R&D demandsEnsures SOP tires are scheduled according to demand - Determines phase out date of a tireControls and coordinates phase out processAnalyze daily the fulfillment of size achievement KPI and take corrective actions were needed

QualificationsBachelor degree in Production Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Logisitics or related fieldExperience in Tire Manufacturing industry knowledge is an advantageTheoretical knowledge of manufacturing, industrial engineering, process engineering or similarExperience in production processes and or sequencing function, production or logistics related functionsExpert in Analytical and planning skillsExperience in problem solving skills and toolsNetworking and interactions skills with fellow sequencers in other plantsCommunicating effectively and working under time pressureGood command in English

Additional Information

The candidate should be opened to multi-skilling and potential moves within the Sequencing department and can work in night shift.
