Summary The Sergeant provides supervisory oversight to the guard force supporting the United States Security and Exchange Commission, Office of Security Services. The position is for shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 6:30pm - 6:30am. Responsibilities Oversee assigned guard force personnel. Ensure schedule is maintained for staffing needs. Enforce regulations and procedures designed to prevent security breaches. Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Three years of security experience and one year of armed security experience within the past five years. Or; Four years of military or National Guard experience; or, Successful completion of a state certified Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST) course. Armed SPO license. One year of supervisory experience required. Must possess United States citizenship. Successfully complete Federal Protective Services medical and physical testing prior to hire. Must speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook. Estimated Salary/Wage Up to USD $41.02/Hr.
